Have you ever tried "red bean cake" in Taiwan ?

It is not the salty flavor, we make sweet flavor in Taiwan.


This chinese name is “紅豆餅”, which pinyin is "Hong dou bing", and we also have other name, it is “車輪餅”, which pinyin is "Che lun bing".

➡️Food History.

“Hong dou bing” make from Japanese, it is shape from "tong luo shao", like "picture 1",

At 1895 to 1945 B.C., they start to make "Hong dou bing", like this


The crust is made of flour, eggs and sugar. The filling can be red beans, cream, or shredded.


I recommend one shop which name is "有時候紅豆餅 you shihou hongdoy bing."
